ForzaTune Premiere, the full-featured version of the iPhone suspension calculator is now in final testing and should be submitted to the app store this week! Thanks to everyone for the feedback emails and support–I didn’t expect ForzaTune Lite to be downloaded as much as it has!
The Premiere version will include aerodynamic compensation, brake and differential settings in addition to a much better interface. That’s all I will say for now! This latest version took a good amount of time to make…what do you think is a fair price? Take 7 seconds and add your answer in the comments…
My suggestion is to please make an Android, Java Midlet or at least a PC version!

If you are planning to upgrade this to support forza 3 for free then I would pay 1.99 – 4.99 for it.

@Rick: I really appreciate the feedback. Yes, the plan is to upgrade it once the mechanics of the new physics engine in Forza Motorsport 3 are figured out. It would be an update to the ForzaTune Premiere version (free if already purchased earlier).
I think what Rick said was fair I wouldn’t go over 3.99 though. I think 1.99 is a good price and I would buy it for sure at that price. But in the end you are the developer and if you think the time it took to make this app costs more then do it

Please for the Love of all things holy do away with the sliders, it’s near impossible to get the exact number I’m trying to slide it to, other than that I look forward to what you come up with. Also, are you going to put adjustments in like “increase corner entry oversteer” etc. like on croisened.com? It would be awesome as well.

Tweaking the tune like on some of the online calcs will be in the next update or two. My other goal will be to get the app tested against Forza 3 and make it sure it still works well.

.99$ SALE ! That is the best price but considering the not so big potential customer base Id say go with 1.99$ .
I say you should sell it for $0.99 or$1.99. Are you guys thinking about puting a tune for drifting? If you do you can sell it for more.
I woul happily pay 2 to 3 bucks for the premiere edition, maybe a little more depending on content, love the lite version, hurry up already with new edition, I agree with everyone else on how to make it better, please don’t forget diff locking rates, that would rock!

Hey Steve, thanks for the support and I would love to see a decal on some in-game cars! The most important thing would be that it is capital ‘F’, capital ‘T’, with no space. And of course a little ‘TM’ since it is a trademark. The other option would just be ‘forzatune.com’ by itself (no caps). Again, I really appreciate your help spreading the word.

It usually takes Apple about 2 weeks to approve an app. So I am crossing my fingers for next Monday (10/26). I apologize to the users in other countries getting FM3 this week. (we still have to do some testing for FM3–not sure how it will react yet)

I would be happy to pay £5 for a Forza 3 version. It would at least give you a good starting point.
I’d pay $3USD for it for sure if it had all the settings that Forza 3 had, if possible perhaps charge $0.99 for the users that are upgrading and $3 for the users that are first installing it. If that is an option *shrugs* I guess you could have a sale price then ‘jack it up’ a few days later

Is it possible to ask for Metric units, I use Metric and I find it tiresome to convert the units each time. Would be amazing to see it come in, would help the European players alot

First of all congratulations for your work! I was wondering if by any chance you could include a template where you can select a specific track and the results of the tune calculations would be optimized for that specific track. Another thing i think would be useful for begginers it would be a kind of minitutorial explaining how the different settings of tuning affects the driving in Forza 3. Another thing (and this is personal request ) that would be appreciated is if you can select if you are playing with a steering wheel or a controller. This last sugestion/request comes from my personal experience, i often end up making different tunes for the same track and car, one for controller and one for steering wheel because the input whit the controller use to be more agressive than the input from the steering wheel.
