iOS4 Keyboard Fix is Awaiting Apple Approval–For Real This Time

UPDATE:  2.0.1 update did not go as planned and did not fix the keyboard issue for iOS4.  I was having some difficulty testing for all the iPhone/iPod/iPad versions in the wild and a big thanks to the emails/comments for the heads up.  I have already uploaded 2.0.2 and was able to properly test it for iOS4.  Again, sorry for the inconvenience to all the early iOS4 adopters.

If you update to the latest iOS 4 you will notice that the “DONE” button disappears from the keypad.  A fix was submitted to the App store but it was not approved before the OS update was available.  In the meantime using the sliders is a temporary fix for the suspension tune.  Thanks for understanding and being patient–I apologize for the inconvenience–I will post when Apple approves the update!

I can’t wait for Apple to approve this update. Using the sliders isn’t all that bad but I feel better with the key pad. This is probably my most used app and well worth the $2.

    thanks for the up date

What’s taking apple so long to get the update out?

I downloaded the update but the Done button still hasn’t appeared again?

I updated with the recent fix for the ios4 update but I don’t see a change. I’m wondering how to switch from the input info to the get tune screen and then to the gearing screen short of redrafting the app.

    • Josh, for now the sliders are the backup plan for the tuning input…the gearing app is temporarily disabled. I am hoping Apple can turn this one around even faster (2-3 days)

looks like 2.0.1 is approved and I updated it but I still cannot hide the keypad. Any ideas?

It still is not letting me hide the keypad. I love this app but I am getting tired of the sliders not getting the exact number I need. Please update

  9. Please see update to the original post: better fix has been submitted to suit all iOS versions and is once again awaiting approval from Apple (will be version 2.0.2). I am really sorry about the mistake on this. This is the first time I have dealt with a major iOS upgrade. Some lessons learned this go around!

How is the 2.02 version going with itunes? are you any closer with the update as i’m getting withdrawal symptoms from not using the app!!!

On a lighter note would there be a way of perhaps breaking the tune specs into a grip and a speed version? or is that the big difference with the pro mode?

  14. Jim says:

I updated the app but nothing changed..the problem is that neither the logo of the version number didn’t changed.it says version 2.0 instead of version 2.1.anyone experience the same problem?

  15. Cold Spike says:

Any idea on when the 2.0.2 will be released by Apple?

Great app when the “Done” button gets back. I appreciate your promptness in resolving this issue. This app allows me to grind the opponents with a little more “umph”! Thanks guys

I’m curious to know the turn around time regarding the next update. I’ve been watching a while now and still have not seen an update to software v2.0.2. Is there currently a problem with the latest update and Apple is not approving it?

Been waiting a while now and unfortunately others are already posting negativity regarding this app which sux because it’s such a great app when it works :-D

  18. 2.0.2 was approved this afternoon. Please download and let me know if there are any other problems. I think Apple may have been bombarded with iOS4 updates. The turn-around times have been a lot longer. It used to only take a day but the past two have taken roughly a week each to get reviewed!
