v1_2-is-here

In the spirit of ‘fine-tuning’, we have released another update to ForzaTune Premiere!  Be sure to update your app if you have not already.  If you are currently running the Lite version now is a great time to upgrade!  This new version includes:

  • Significant improvements to the Forza 3 suspension calculations.
  • Auto-save feature that saves your car info between sessions.  The data is saved whenever you click ‘Get Tune’.  Go ahead and answer that text message…your tune will be waiting for you when you reload!
  • More precise metric conversion on spring rates.
  • Step-by-step instructions in the help section…including tips and tricks for customizing the ForzaTune base tune.
  • Fix so you no longer need OS 3.1.2 to download–whoops! (minimum OS requirement is 3.0 again)

This is a ‘must-download’ update–enjoy!

(Don’t have the Premiere app yet?  Click here to go to iTunes)

If you are new to this whole custom tune world check out the tutorial I made on how to use the application and where to find car details.  A little humor mixed in with some seriously useful info!

Excellent mate, I have just downloaded it and am working through my base tunes, just to make sure I am getting the best out of the car before I begin “tuning” it…which usually means make it handle like a bag of spanners.

    Hey guys,
    great job on the app!
I could help you by translating the app in Dutch if you want to.
But besides that I wanted to know if there aren’t Standard formulae for making a drift car or perhaps a drag car.
    Keep up the good work!
To race me: add Baas88 on XBL

    cheers

Thanks for the offer! If a lot of people request it I would love to add a new language.

One reply and it’s me? Don’t tell me people have given up on thsi great app already?

Please, please keep developing it, I use it virtually everytime I play FM3 and it’s a must have tool.

Anyway I posted this on the FM forum and it might be of some importance to you and the users or ForzaTune:

Don’t worry Paul, I get tons of emails and comments each day–I was just slacking on the moderation part :)

It is under very active development! Update is coming in a few weeks…

Ah that’s good to hear, I have a few ideas myself, I will see what comes out in the next version and let you know them then. Most of them are requests or UI tweaks so nothing to get too excited about :D.

Have you checked out that link? I haven’t had a chance to test my cars with the “fixed” tune yet, but so far a lot of my cars tunes have been wrong because of it. If it’s the same for all cars (certainly is for all mine so far) then you may need to edit your video…sorry :D

Feuerdog and I were discussing this issue with FM3 before…how the spreadsheet view isn’t always upgraded. I have posted a note to the YouTube video around time 1:40 to explain a little better.

      Thanks for the reminder Paul!
