2.0 Has Landed!

2.0 Has Landed!

forza-motorsport-3

onphone2The free and paid versions of ForzaTune have received huge updates over the past week.  People on the mailing list received a notification last week but I am posting here for others too.

Biggest Update of the Year

New look and interface, new tunes and tons of features added to the free version.  Full version is still only US$1.99!

Look Familiar?

Fans of Forza3 will appreciate the new FM3-inspired interface and color scheme.  Even the app icon gets a new twist to coincide with the game.  2.0 not only looks better but works better too with a change to allow use on the iPad.  Other changes make it easier to use the Car Info and Gearing screens.

Drift Tunes are Here!

We use to get 5 emails a day requesting drift tunes–well thanks for the encouragement and enjoy the new base tunes designed for going sideways and maintaining better control with the tail out.

The full version also gets the closely-guarded, personal base tune (called Pro Grip) developed by Feuerdog. Pro Grip is only available on the ForzaTune app. It is such a great base tune you may get a little giddy the first time you try it.  Like a kid on Christmas.

That’s all I am going to write for now.  Words don’t do it justice–just download one of the new versions and see for yourself!

  1. I love the app but I just upgraded to iOS 4 and once you pop the keypad up there is no way to make it hide again to hit the get tune button. I just have to use the sliders for now which is an OK work around I just hope you guys put out an iOS 4 usable version. Thanks again for a great app!

  2. Great app! Probably the most used on my touch!

But i’ve recently got an android phone and was wondering if you were planning to port the app over to that OS? I want to get rid of my ipod touch but this is the only thing holding me back!!

    Cheers!

  3. The Gearing App is great! I love the results with the suspension. Only one question: Will you provide an upgrade with a metric display eventually?

    Thanks,
    Martin

  4. Fantastic App… 2 questions…

The tire pressure on the app says 29.0 but on my console it goes 1.0 up to 3.0 and also my springs are not in lbs/ in but kgf/ mm

How do I convert the two?

    Its for my Corvette CO6

    1. Sorry for the late reply but you can go into settings and change everything to ‘metric’. The settings can be found under the iphone/ipod touch general settings. Scroll down past wallpaper, general, etc and you’ll see app-specific ones including ForzaTune’s.
