It was a big deal when the Toyota Supra landed in Forza Horizon. What racing game is complete without it? And to this day it’s still one of the most commonly tuned cars.
If you’re looking to make a great setup for your Supra I have several videos for you and a summary of each below. Let’s take a look…
Supra Tuning Quick Start Guide
In this video we install upgrades to make a fast but driver-friendly setup for the street. You also see how upgrades can make the car handle worse if you don’t re-balance the entire tune. Yes, believe it or not Forza will automatically tune some things when the weight changes while leaving other settings as-is. It creates some weird imbalances.
The take away: most upgrades add potential, tuning helps you use that potential.
Supra Gear Tuning
In this tuning video we crank things up a bit, but quickly hit a top speed issue with gears. You’ll learn how to use ForzaTune to reset your gears and find a great balance between acceleration and top speed. We hit over 260 mph while leaving plenty of upgrades on the table.
Supra Drift Tuning
In this video we take that same 1100 hp Supra from the gear tuning example and turn it into a drifting beast. The unique thing about make drift tunes with ForzaTune is that they are stable. Most times we can keep nearly full throttle and only worry about steering. And when the back end is coming around too much you can simply ease off of the throttle briefly.
Create Your Own Tunes
The above videos are just a few ways the ForzaTune app can help you find the right handling and gearing setups in Forza Horizon or any Forza game.
What about a rally Supra build? ForzaTune can do that.
What about a drag Supra build. Check.
What if you want something even easier to drive? Yep. Make a tune for an AWD Supra with 1300+ hp in just a few minutes.
Conclusion
It’s really unbelievable how many options and combinations you can make. And this is just one – admittedly wonderful – example of the 1000+ cars included in the app. Would you like to see more tune videos like this?
