Using the Forza telemetry is a powerful way to know what your car is doing and if your tunes have room for improvement. This guide will show you how to pull up the telemetry view in both Forza Horizon and Motorsport games.
How to Turn On Telemetry in Forza Horizon 5
Telemetry is not accessible in Forza Horizon by default. Follow these steps to enable it on your console.
- Under Settings > Controls make sure you have one of the default controller or wheel layouts. Restart your game if you select a default layout. Layout 1 is usually best for manual with clutch.
- Go to Settings > Advanced Controls and change the “Switch ANNA / Telemetry / TTS” option to “Telemetry”. Now all the button mappings for ANNA will apply to telemetry.
- When driving, press down on the D-pad to show telemetry and use the right and left D-pad buttons to cycle through the displays. PC players may need to press Esc or T and cycle through using Page Up and Down buttons.
How to Turn On Telemetry in Forza Horizon 4
Like Forza Horizon 5, you need to enable the telemetry option in Forza Horizon 4. Follow these steps:
- Under Control Settings > Controller make sure you have a default layout selected.
- Go to the “Advanced” screen by pressing the menu (hamburger) button.
- Change the “Switch ANNA / Telemetry / TTS” option to “Telemetry”. Now all the button mappings for ANNA will apply to telemetry.
- When driving, press down on the D-pad to show telemetry and use the right and left D-pad buttons to cycle through the displays. PC players may need to press Esc or T and cycle through using Page Up and Down buttons.
How to Turn On Telemetry in Forza Motorsport 7 or Earlier
To display telemetry information on Forza Motorsport simple press down on the directional pad (D-pad) while in a race or test drive. You can then use the left and right D-pad buttons to cycle through the various information displays.
